Andrey Dmitriev, leader of the St Petersburg branch of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), says his party is ready for dialogue with Kremlin. Speaking in an interview with Radio Svoboda, Dmitriev said he supported “with both hands” the decision of the leadership in Kremlin to recognise the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
In Dmitriev’s words, Kremlin had taken a great step forward and enjoys the support of even those who had never supported it before. “I hope Kremlin will make good use of this support to break the barriers between the government and society that were built under Vladimir Putin’s presidency,” Dmitriev said. “We are ready for dialogue,” he added.
