Forensics of Election Fraud

A group of Russian and US political scientists has developed methodologies for the detection and measurement of electoral fraud, with specific application to the states of the former USSR. Mikhail Myagkov of the University of Oregon, Peter Ordeshook of the California Institute of Technology, and Dmitry Shakin of the Academy of National Economy in Moscow published their findings in the book, The Forensics of Election Fraud. The study concluded that election fraud has metastasized in Russia during Putin’s administration so as to render the concept of a democratic election there an oxymoron.
