Other Russia leaders to be arrested?

The Other Russia opposition coalition has received information that the authorities are planning to arrest the movement’s two leaders, Garry Kasparov and Eduard Limonov.

The intention of the planned arrest is to prevent Kasparov and Limonov from attending the coalition’s National Assembly, which will meet in its first session in Moscow on 17-18 May 2008.

Because of the imminent threat of arrest, Kasparov and Limonov will not take part in the March of Dissent in Moscow tomorrow. The opposition demonstration has not received official permission.
