“Run, Boy!”

Several National Bolsheviks were detained in connection with the presentation of a collection of poems (“Run, Boy!”) by the leader of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), Mr Eduard Limonov, in St Petersburg on 27 April 2009.

Eight National Bolsheviks were detained outside of the Bukvoyed bookstore in the centre of St Petersburg before the beginning of the book presentation of Mr Limonov. The eight were released soon after the event without charges.

Another dozen National Bolsheviks were detained by police after the presentation on the Neva Embankment, on the orders of Colonel Vladimir Kuzmichev, deputy head of St Petersburg’s Central Police District.
