Russians think ever better of policemen

The opinion of ordinary Russians about the police is getting ever better. According to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation, the number of Russians who are satisfied with the work of law enforcement agencies is higher than of those who are unsatisfied.

Of those questioned, 12% thought that police is doing an excellent or a good job, while 36% were satisfied with police work. Those who were of the opposite opinion accounted for 30% of those questioned, which was 4 percentage points less than a year earlier.
