450,000 policemen to guard elections

As many as 450,000 policemen and Interior Ministry soldiers will control the Duma elections tomorrow. Four policemen will be present at each polling station. In Moscow, 20,000 policemen and soldiers will oversee the elections. This is two times more than during the opposition’s March of Dissent in April. The Kommersant daily reports that the policemen have been subordinated to the FSB for the first time.
